Message from Sarvadev Mandir Committee

To all SDM members, we are very pleased to inform you that we have a new priest who has joined our temple. His name is Jagdish. He is young, pleasant and very knowledgeable. He speaks English and that is easy for our Children. We are elated that we are able to serve your needs. We now can fulfill the needs of all of you – no matter what region you are from India.

For the first time in our Temple we will be Celebrating Guru Purnima on Friday July 18th at 6.30pm.

On this day we worship our Guru, may it be a spiritual guru, a teacher, a parent or a role model. Guru can be more than one person. You may have more than one guru. Any body that we learn from is actually our guru.

Venu: Guru Puja/Satya Narayan Katha

Please Bring a plate – Thali for puja with a picture of your Guru (or you may bring Vishnu Pratima), flowers, rice, roli (tika), candle and $21 for archana.

Pandit ji will conduct puja and every one can follow. Satya Narayan Katha will be recited by our members. The program will end with POT LUCK DINNER and social hour.
